Creating Prospect Leads When Necessary
Any person who has been in the internet marketing industry for any period of time knows that prospecting leads is vital.
Obviously it's impossible and inappropriate to pitch to everybody and if you do you'll find you do not have many friends.
Online Prospect Leads
There are processes you should follow online or offline.
The power to close sales is directly related to the standard of the leads you generate. Pitching to folks who are completely disinterested from the outset is not going to get you anywhere. This could sound clear, but some who are only starting out in network marketing will pitch to anything with a heart beat - they appear to lose their commonsense.
Identify your prospect lead first.
Think "target marketing".
Know, in particular who your best future customer or prospect is market solely to them.
There are plenty of methods of lead prospecting, below are merely a couple of ideas.
It is smart to find a technique you are ok with, that way making shows will become second nature to you.
Word-of-mouth or private recommendation is the best way to generate good prospect leads. Time is important, always chase up any referrals you are given quickly and don't forget to mention the referee's name. Satisfied clients do the great majority of your selling for you, if they are referring you to pals they are going to be highly enthused about your product and your prospect is thus pre-warmed.
Whatever you do with this lead will get back to the individual that referred it, don't forget to thank the referrer and follow up fast. This method can snowball and very often leads to more leads, the perfect end result. Offering a motivation to the referrer is always a smart idea, whether or not it is a money off coupon or a small gift. If this person then makes a habit of referring folks to you, they would be a perfect candidate for your downline team, as in effect they already are.
Networking for Prospect Leads
If you are a member of any clubs or organizations these are perfect places to find prospects and if not an affiliate of any important clubs, you need to consider joining some. These are great places to find leads, because folks know you. You'll be able to find other folks in related companies if you join a networking group and share leads with them.
For instance if you sell automobile products you might hook up with somebody who sells autos, but ensure that this technique is a two-way street, you should always provide incentives for those that do offer you leads.
Prospect leads can be found in spades at trade shows, but this may be a pricey way of finding leads and it will also take up plenty of your time. Your target market is there, so don't hide behind your personal computer network with people.
You show your personality and practice attraction selling, or you will have wasted your time and money.
Once you've identified potential prospects, you must gather as much intelligence on them as you can .
Find out about their business, and what they do.
